Do dynamometers appraise the speed from the vehicle too?
I understand dynamometers appraise the torque and hewlett packard of the vehicle, but could they appraise the max speed from the vehicle too?
If that’s the case, how do you use it?
I’m not interested by doing this…
I’m just wondering the way they found the max speed of the vehicle…
the dodge tomahawk is mentioned to visit 420mph, which is a motorbike-ant vehicle(a dodge viper engine on the motorcycle)…clearly no human could stand that much gforce and wind and so i wasn’t sure the way they made it happen
Since a vehicle running on the chasis dyno isn’t moving, you cannot make use of a dyno to measure speed. You will find additional factors, like wind and road resistance to be considered.
So far as I understand, the Dodge Tomahawk was strictly a design exercise to exhibit from the large V-10 engine, and never was intended for serious use on the highway. It’s never been run at any serious speed, and might not be safe to use at highway speeds. Any stated top speed is simply a guestimate, and prone to remain this way.

check engine light..i required it towards the pollutants testing and unsuccessful
….a week ago i unsuccessful my pollutants test due to the check engine light…and so i restarted my vehicle and also the light is if i’m guessing towards the testing again does it pass?
Most likely not. After you are within their system as getting unsuccessful an evaluation. They’ll scan the machine, and without getting fixed the issue, will fail again. Once you have made repairs, the vehicle needs to undergo a self check to make certain things are in correct running order. So once you are back ready to go, wait a couple of days before returning through, run the vehicle lower the hi-way before re-testing to make certain it is good and hot! Altering the oil and filter will even help push you thru!

I have a Homelite 330 chainsaw which I had to replace the ignition module on with a newer module. The module is considerably smaller than the old one, and after making a plate to mount it on, I found that the spark plug wire is too short, and it is permanently part of the module. I know that the CDI module has some sort of noise damping system on high-tension lead, but will an extension ather the factory plug end affect this? I have a number of old Champion RJ19 plugs kicking around; I was considering smashing the insulator off one of these, cutting off the contact tip (the one the wire plugs onto) and soldering it to some solid core home wire with a clip on the other end to connect to the new plug, and then using this to bridge the gap after liberal wrapping with electrical tape, just for engine testing purposes.
I have also seen splice kits designed for motorcycles with CDI, would buying one of those and splicing in some automotive wire be a better permanent fix in the long run?
Those kits work quite well on saws, in my experience.

Utilization of alternator installed on Engine to charge Battery?
We’re testing High Hp Engines on Hydraulic Dynamometers. Throughout Testing alternator 24V 55A is installed on Engine. Are we able to take output out of this alternator, charge the batteries, use Inverter circuit and employ this energy?
Please reply. Thanks.
Pankaj
As your jobs are testing hp on engines, you’ll be able to require away any energy for other reasons.
