Chassis Dynamometers

Can a BMW X-3 or X-5 be Dyno tested on a 2 wheel Clayton Chassis Dynamometer?
The X-3 and X-5 are four wheel drive vehicles. I don’t know if the front differentials are full time “Active” or can you manually disengage the front wheel drive activity.
Absolutely defintely not. These models have “X Drive” which without getting too technical means there is always drive (however small) going to any wheel at any time.
X Drive cannot be turned off, its “as is”.
If it doesn’t throw it out of the rollers you will do some serious damage to the transmission.
